  • How do I order?

  • How do I skip, pause, cancel or reschedule a weekly order?

    If you've ordered too many dishes, are heading away or simply feel like skipping the next order, simply click here to log-in to your account and click on Manage Subscription.

    Please note, we are not able to make changes past our cut off times of midnight Saturday for Friday deliveries and midnight Monday for Sunday deliveries. This is because we are already getting started on ordering ingredients and prepping your order.

  • Can I choose the dishes in my weekly box?

    You can build a box of 6, 8, 10 or 12 meals by choosing dishes from our seasonal menu. You can go back into your account weekly to change these out. Cut off times for new subscriptions are Tuesday at midnight for Sunday deliveries and Sunday at midnight for Friday deliveries.

  • How many people does a meal serve?

    With FED. weekly and our FED. one-off frozen meal range, you can choose the meal size to suit you – Mini for smaller appetites (300g), Regular for one (min 400g) or Ravenous (480g) for a hungry appetite.Family meal weights vary but are designed to feed a family of four (2 adults and 2 children). Mini, single and ravenous are available on subscription. One off orders are available in single and family only.

  • How big are your meals?

    FED weekly and FED as you go - Our mini size order is 300g, our single size option is approximately 400g, ravenous 480g and family 1300g - although some variation can occur depending on the dish. This is a standard size for an average adult. Our Ravenous portion is approximately 480g which is a slightly larger size for an extra hungry adult.

  • Is there a minimum order?

    Our minimum order value is $95 which will be apporoximately 5 meals.

  • What days do you deliver?
    We deliver our fresh meal subscription orders on Fridays in Auckland and Sundays in Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton, Christchurch, Hawkes Bay, Tauranga, Whangerei and Palmerston North. Friday is Auckland region only. Cut off times for orders are end of day Sundays for Friday deliveries and end of day Tuesdays for Sunday deliveries. Our As You Go frozen deliveries are available for next day delivery Tuesday-Friday. Cut off is 12pm the previous day. Please note, there are some public holidays we may not be able to deliver on.

  • What if I can’t be home to receive my meals?
    If you’re not home when we deliver, our driver will follow your delivery instructions or will leave your box in a secure location. Our meals arrive in insulated boxes but please be sure to put your meals in the fridge as soon as you get home and be aware that we can take no responsibility for your box after it has been delivered.

  • What’s the wool packaging all about?
    It’s called Woolcool which is a sustainable and highly effective natural insulation material that is made out of sheep’s wool. The best part about Woolcool is its recyclable, so if you would like to send your wool cool and ice packs back to us please pop us an email on hello@getfed.co.nz and we will send you a courier label.

  • Can I deliver to a rural address?
    Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to rural addresses at this time. But get in touch with us and we’ll locate you on the map and see if we can help..

  • How do I update my details?

    Simple as. Log-in to your account by clicking here. You can update addresses and view previous orders as well as manage subscriptions for FED. Weekly. You can reset your password at any time by clicking on 'Forgot your passsword?' on the login page.

  • How do I choose or swap my dishes?

    If you're a FED weekly subscriber, pick our latest dishes or swap out your favourites through your account. Once your order has generated we are unfortunately unable to make meal swaps. This is because our team has already started ordering ingredients and preparing your order.

  • How can I send it as a gift?

    With three working parents as owners, we know what a great gift FED. can be.

    You can buy a gift voucher by clicking here. You’ll be sent an email with instructions to print or view the gift card online. You can also order a care box from our care box menu here.

  • Can I subscribe to mini meals or add them to a subscription?

    You can subscribe to a weekly box of FED. mini meals. You can also add mini meals or other meals to your subscription but you will need to make sure you add these on a weekly basis. When subscribing you will be given a unique code that will remove the extra delivery fee. If you have any problems with this just contact hello@getfed.co.nz and we will be able to help you.

  • STORAGE AND COOKING

  • How should I store my FED. meals?

    FRESH MEALS - Our meals are designed to be eaten within seven days of receiving although some of our summer salads need to be eaten within 4-5 days of receiving. Please pop them in the fridge until you are ready to chow down.

    Please remove the clear film and sticker by curtting around the edge with a sharp knife before heating. All our meals can be cooked in the oven or microwave.

    If plans change and you haven’t eaten your meal before their expiry date, fear not, most of our meals can be frozen too! Check our website to see if your meal is freezer friendly.Just look for the snowflake icon to see if your meals are suitable for freezing.

    Since FED. meals have no added preservatives, they can be kept up to three months in the freezer. All our meals are made fresh by hand in small batches, so please make sure you eat within three months of the use by date on the label when freezing.

    FROZEN MEALS - You can store your frozen meals in the freezer for 3 months or transfer directly to the fridge to defrost. Always remember to store your FED. dishes in the freezer at -18°C. See label for directions on how to heat from frozen. Once thawed, please consume meal within 48 hours.

  • How do I reheat my dishes?

    All our meals can be cooked in the oven or microwave. Please remove the sleeve and pierce the film to allow the steam to escape.

    All the dish cooking instructions can be found on the back of the sticker.

    Always ensure your ready-made meal is piping hot and keep an eye on over-cooking as all appliances have their own personality!

  • Can I freeze the dishes?

    If you have ordered frozen meals, you can continue to freeze these for a further 3 months. Alternatively you can put them in the fridge to defrost. Some of our fresh meals are suitable for freezing. Please look for the snowflake icon on our website and labels. Freezing is very much encouraged, particularly if you think that you might not eat them before the use by date.

  • Can I put the packaging in the oven or microwave?

    YES! Our black PET trays can be used in the oven or microwave. Just remember to remove the sticker before putting the tray in the oven.

  • Where do you source your ingredients from?

    We source our ingredients from a small group of NZ producers and partners. We use high welfare meat and free range eggs to ensure quality in every dish. All of our chicken, lamb and beef is certified halal. While all our meat is certified halal, it's important to note that we do not maintain separate production or storage areas or use separate utensils.

  • Tell us a bit more about FED. dishes?

    Our FED Chef Beckie is the creative mind behind our dishes. She and her team hand make every dish in small batches from scratch.

    Beckie takes care to ensure that all of the meals are nutritionally balanced to support a healthy lifestyle so you can feel good about eating them. You can find all nutritional info on our dishes on our website.

  • Are any of the dishes allergen free?

    Cooking up goodness for every preference and dietary requirement is something we know is really important to our customers.

    Please note that the dishes are prepared in a kitchen that sometimes contains nuts, dairy and wheat so we cannot guarantee any of our dishes will be completely free from traces of key allergens.

  • Where can I find the nutritional information for my meals?

    You can find all the nutritional information you need right here on our website. Once you're on our menu page, simply click on the image of the dish you're interested in and head to the on the 'Nutrition' tab to see the full nutritional breakdown.

  • What are the serving sizes of each meal?

    Single meals are a standard serving size for one adult or a teenage kid. Our Ravenous meals will cater for those with bigger appetites. For younger children or those with small appetites we have our Mini sized meals which are great for younger kids, lunches or those with smaller appetites. Our family meal size serves a family of four (two adults and two children).

  • What do the abbreviatons on the meals mean?

    Snowflake- freezer friendly
    PAL – paleo
    Veg - vegetarian
    Vegan -contains no products that derive from animals, including eggs Hand weight - meals that contain fewer than 450 calories.

  • Do I have to do any cooking?

    None whatsoever. Your meals will arrive completely prepared, so all you have to do is reheat them in the oven or microwave, serve and eat. You can even eat them out of the tray if you like, no judgement here!

  • DELIVERY

  • Do you deliver to me?

    We currently deliver our fresh subscription meal service to Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Hawkes Bay, Tauranga, Warkworth, Waiheke and the surrounding suburbs of these areas on Sundays or Mondays. Friday delivery is Auckland only. Please check with us if you are not sure if we deliver to your area and we will let you know.

  • How can I track my delivery?
    Delivery times will depend on whether you have ordered a one off next day delivery of frozen meals or have signed up to a subscription meal plan. One off frozen next day delivery is 8-5. Subscription delivery times vary depending on your location but you will be sent a tracking email and text when your order has been dispatched which will allow you to track your order.

  • How much is delivery?

    Auckland deliveries are $10 and out of Auckland deliveries are $15. All South Island deliveries (with the exception of Christchurch are $25)

  • Do I need to be at home to receive my meals?

    In a word, no. But making things ultra-convenient and safe for you so that does unfortunately mean we need to ensure the meals are packaged in temperature controlled boxes.

    You can recycle the cardboard boxes along with your usual recycling.

  • How do I dispose of my packaging?

    FED. meals have been thoughtfully packaged in recyclable PET trays.

    You can put these in your kerbside public recycling and it will be collected by your local recycler.

  • What if I receive my meals and the frozen ice packs have thawed out?

    As long as your meals are still "refrigerator-cold" to the touch, they can be safely stored in your fridge (if fresh) or in the freezer (if frozen)

  • OUR PACKAGING

  • Is your packaging recyclable?

    Yes! Packaging has been a really important consideration for us and we pride ourselves on using eco-friendly materials. Your PET trays can be recycled - just put it out with your kerbside recycling.

    Prepared Meal Trays and Sleeves: The trays are made from recyclable PET.

    You can put these in your kerbside or public recycling and it will be collected by your local recycler.

    Cardboard boxes: These can be broken down and put into your household recycling

    Gel Packs: Reusable and recyclable. The packs are water-soluble, non-toxic, and non-hazardous. If you’d like to recycle, clip the corner, discard the gel in the bin, and recycle the plastic pouch in the soft plastics recycling at your local supermarket.

    Small Pottles: The small clear containers used for condiments and herbs are made from plants, not oil and are certified commercially compostable – so pop them in a green bin NOT in the recycling.
